Play episode

In this episode I speak to Martin Percy, who has won a BAFTA British Academy Award, Five Webby Awards, a Grand Clio and has also received three Emmy nominations for his interactive video pieces.

In 2014 he gave a TEDx talk about his film Lifesaver which is a cutting-edge way to learn lifesaving skills anytime, anywhere.

We look at his recent film – Real Talk About Suicide which is an interactive film helping guide the viewer as they make choices to support someone with suicidal thoughts and behaviours.

We discuss how his interactive films can help our mental health and develop new cognitive skills in learning to help ourselves as well as others.
